How I Got Here
WARNING!!! Yes, let me warn you that when you get ready to convert from Religious to Spiritual, it will not be easy. After having been a Baptist Minister's wife for 25 years, I know of what I speak. Spirit started trying to reveal to me the Spiritual path around the same time that my husband was ordained. I didn't know what was happening - just thought I was doing His will being in the ministry, teaching teens, directing choirs, being department superintendent, etc. These were good but they were not enough.
Religious and Spiritual are not even first cousins. Don't get me wrong. There are many Spiritual people in Religion and there can be as many spiritual fanatics as there are religious fanatics. But if a person is truly trying to follow Spirit's direction and His commandments, it is less likely that a person will develop fanaticism. The Ten Commandments, as the Christed One, Jesus, taught are not multiple choice. They are what they are - a guide to show the way to Spiritual living.
